Introduction
############

This guide will drive you step by step through the setup of your Ellip Notebooks environment.

- Register on the Platform: you'll need have an registered account (see :ref:`create-user-account`),
- Access your Ellip Notebooks server instance, see :ref:`access_ellip_notebooks`,
- Have a quick tour of working Notebooks, there is the section :ref:`examples_notebooks` just for that!

Once you have passed through these steps, you can start experimenting your code on Ellip :-)

A prior knowledge of `Python <https://www.python.org>`_, `Jupyter <https://jupyter.org>`_ and `JupyterLab <https://jupyterlab.readthedocs.io/en/stable>`_ is also useful.
